Encontré este texto interesante y quería compartirlo junto con unas lindas memorias fotográficas desde la isla de Moorea.
“Fernweh”se traduce en alemán sencillamente como “pasión por viajar” pero parte esta etimología: la tristeza por estar en casa y el deseo por viajar lejos, cuanto más lejos mejor.

Lo define exactamente Alexander von Humboldt (el padre de la geografía moderna universal y quien fijó el concepto original) : él habla de esa “ enfermedad centrífuga ” por viajar, de una atracción inexplicable a lo desconocido, la añoranza de lugares lejanos y también la melancolía por quedarte en casa.
